i also prefer auto. BBBJ easier to perform with no delay. Double clutch Action. Terry say one.

actually its kinda true that modern cars can go fast really easily and you dun get that much sensation of speed. (like the 7 series u mentioned... up to #00 so very easily with nothing happening except the surroundings moving past faster)
like the Veyron vs F1, Veyron just stomp on the gas but the F1 has to balance the clutch during launch, launch at the best rpm, clutch in/out and go thru the gears at the optimum rpms... etc etc... u need a good driver to match up with the Veyron in the F1, but if u are in the Veyron, all you need to do is floor the gas and hold on

Top Gear is pure entertainment. In real life the McLaren F1 would be left far behind, in a launch or from a roll. That doesn't mean that it's not a nice car, just that the Veyron is far superior in the straights. Motortrend tested the lightweight version, the F1 LM and even then it was not even a contest.

Top Gear is pure entertainment. In real life the McLaren F1 would be left far behind, in a launch or from a roll. That doesn't mean that it's not a nice car, just that the Veyron is far superior in the straights. Motortrend tested the lightweight version, the F1 LM and even then it was not even a contest.
