All,

I am currently not driving a BMW. Current ride is a MKV GTI... but had being thinking of getting a 325 or if budget permits, the 335 sedan.....

Just saying hi to all....

Cheers!

Ooh, another E90 335 fan!

Welcome!!

Re: Newbie saying hi...

I'm more interested in the MkV GTi. Is your car by any chance modded? I also wanna upgrade to 325 but I think I shall work harder first. Haha... Big brown BEAR in town, gotta hang on...

Re: Newbie saying hi...

My GTI is on APR stage 1.. theoretically should be pushing out about 250BHP with 350Nm.. but i have never dynoed her... but it does feel significantly faster than stock especially the mid range pull... very addicting...

I tried the 325, was impressed by the handling and its smooth and quiet ride, but coming from a GTI, it lacks the punch and the gear box is pretty laggy compared with the DSG. Tried the 335, found smiles as the punch is there and it sound extremely nice...

lets all work harder for our ideal rides then..

cheers and thanks for the warm welcome...

Re: Newbie saying hi...

Go for the 335. Smile every day for sure. If you are keen, I can negotiate good deal with PI for you but you have to move fast before the interest rates go up this Friday.

Ha !!! Stick to this PI recommended by Howard. I concur on the trustworthiness.

The GTi is indeed addictive. But handling and higher end is still something the GTi stops short of... Have you considered a 135? S3?

The 335 would be extremely fun IMO but to me, the price tag and upkeep is a concern as well.

You can check out the 1 series with the recommend PI I think...

Re: Newbie saying hi...

I notice that most PI bring in the 335 coupe but rarely see them advertise a 335 sedan.... I am thinking of a sedan due to family needs.... but wifey found the rear of the 3 series a bit small...(small problem though).... no 5 series for me at the moment, slighty too big in size for me...
