thats a cool classic..the E30..dun mind one myself.....

that said, my E36 shares the same powerplant..and by extension the same "problems".... hahah.. actually quite easy to maintain what.. timing belt every 40km, regular oil change, radiator care..etc..and mine's dependable as i want it to be!..
i've got manuals and stuff, so if u need help, feel free to pm me or something....

Thabks all for the really warm welcome, it is really that the belt need to be change at 40k insead like jap car 80k.
Am runing semi, can i use fully?
I just change mine when i send for the last maintanance.I have a few question.
1.do anyone know how can i make my econ meter work, it is not working now, it is got to do with the battery in the meter as i have remove it and now dont know us what to replace it.
2.Also how can i make the car idle smooth,ie no hickup as it judder a bit when idle, it seems annoying.
3.I also might need a replacement gear box as mine is emiting ruff noice when draging in gear, sound like lorry.
4.fuel gauge sometime will move to empty and up,the reserve tank light also not coming up
Need all the advice.

are your from Msia, think its best for you to go to any meet up and consult the experts there
E30 in SG is a dying breed and judging from your Qs above, u sure have lot to look into
