New with BMW 520i 2016

Dear brothers ,
i hope that somone can help in few points :
1- what is the best oil engin most BMW 5 Series are using?
2-after how many Km do i have to change the oil , do i have to change the filter also with every time i change the oil?
3- transmition oil do we have to replace it if every thing is normal ?
4- flate tyres, is it a good idea . How long its giving compare to normal tyres ?

Seems like oils need to get thinner in newer cars due to better tighter tolerances and efficiency. Typically. Now 5w-30. Will get thinner in new engine specs to come.

I believe doing this at 7000km max as the engine needs good oil. Many parts will get clogged later if you push it and leading to later problems. Varnish and wear to various solenoids and ducts.

Gearbox damage is expensive. Change atf at 40000km. Since it is a super smooth gearbox. Damage will be harder expensive to fix. Why not change regularly.

Love the run flat due to no fear. But later when I tried the Michelin sports 4 non run flat. You see a big difference in noise and comfort.
just worry about flat later.

its clear from your data , 5W30 is best choice, 5000 to 6000 can be good to replace the oil engin.
gearbox oil to be replaced regularly .
non flat are less in noise and more comfort .

do you know how much its costing changing gearbox oil in saudia arabia !!
around 800$
is it normal !!!

Not surprised. At the cost.
surly you know replacing the mechatronic or the whole gearbox is from 3000 to 12000 bucks. That’s worst.
