New car run in - E90 320i

I dunno if it's my new car or what, but the engine seems lacking in power.

My old 320i gives more torque, even at lower RPMs.

Or issit because my engine haven't run in? I thought nowadays engines are built to run the day it came out of the factory?

less than 1,000 kms on my odo so far.

After run-in (my car mileage is now about 3.5k), it seems like the pickup is a tad better and smoother. It could be just me. I'm not sure how your other car felt, but I felt the same way after I got the new car too.

Ran it in with my SE's instructions, no more than 100km/h for 1000km. But according to the manual its no more than 130km or 160km for no more than 2000km.

Thanks bro, I am quite frustrated with the pickup and gearshift of my new car. I hope maybe we can meet up and swap cars for a test drive one day. Where do you live? I stay in Bt Panjang.

Actually I find tat 50/50 driving patten will thus makes throttle respond retarded. Either relax driving patten all e way or Wack it hard ~

C180 = TC & E90 = NA (straight 4) leh..

Different range already..

Chill la brother, NA is awesome too. Besides the torque, frankly the C180 has much to be desired. Not a nice drive IMHO and it won't corner like the BMW.
