After 13 years BMW is about to come back on the market with an M3 four door. Back in 1995 the Bavarian car manufacturer had already a four door in the M3 lineup, but then for just one model year.
This fall, BMW will start off with the launch of the new M3 model range by introducing coupe version. In spring 2008 the convertible M3 will follow, and finally in autumn another brand new four-door version will be unveiled. This one, however, has at the most the four doors in common with this predecessor, because while the 1995 M3 was powered by a 3.0 liter inline-6 engine delivering 296 HP, the M3 cars of today gets power from a strong 4.0 litre V-8, which should be able to accelerate in 4.6 sec. to 100 km/h.
Yes, the 635CSI is the most beautiful BMW ever made. To date, nothing matches it. I went to PML in Sime and saw one second hand one, I asked to buy it but was refused on grounds that it was unavailable for sale.MRacer77;184287 said:well, I guess to each his own then. I personally do not mind the 5 or the 7, since I used to own 2 745s myself. However, I just find that for the 3 series, which is supposed to a smallish car, it is kind of clumsy looking and not graceful as it should be, as opposed to the e46. I do agree with you that the Z4 looks better than the Z3 but at the same time you can't deny the fact that some older designs do look better than current ones...
Hi MRacer77, slightly OT but have you signed up on the E21/E30 Classics registry thread (under BMW Singapore Motoring Life)?MRacer77;184287 said:well, I guess to each his own then. When did you get your E30? Is it the one-owner silver one that was for sale recently? I was thinking pretty hard about buying it.
There is a very nice E24 6 series (not sure but think it may be a 628csi) around town that recently underwent a 1 or 2-year restoration at PML. I heard it was for sale. Some of the forumers here know the owner. I think Ben at Autoincsports may also be in contact with him.caySman;184366 said:Yes, the 635CSI is the most beautiful BMW ever made. Didn't see your handle on that thread.MRacer77;184384 said:Yeah I thought I signed up awhile ago already.
I got my e30 about 2 and half years ago. My E30 is Alpine white not silver. If you want to buy an e30, you can make me an offer.

Thanks, but I decided not to buy another car in the end (at least for now!).

foxfrc5;184361 said:The E36 M3 sedan was definitely offered for more than one year. I recall seeing them on the streets of Europe in 1995. It was on the price lists of many car mags for several years. I think the last one to be registered in Singapore was registered in 1998 (estoril blue if I remember correctly). Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
