need solutions... original car cam draining battery

Hi All, I am driving a 2018 216i GT and the original car cam is draining the car battery.

The car cam is still in working order.

I do not wish to replace the car cam.

Any solutions for me?

Have the camera wired up to an external battery directly instead. When you drive car will charge the battery and when car is shut down camera runs off the external battery.

Alternative is to use a power magic module that cuts off the camera when the battery falls below a certain voltage thus saving the car battery. Of course this will cut your car camera operating time down whilst the car is not on.

Do your own research to see what fits your needs. There is NO free fix except to d/c the camera when the car is not on.
