Yes I did it myself. You just have to pull hard enough on it and it comes out. Alternate way is to unscrew a few screws on the bumper and press some clips behind. But i found the pulling out method more effective. Though u have to be careful not to break the grill while pulling. You will know how much force to apply when u actually do it.
I think it would be worth doing it the safer way by unscrewing some screws on the bumper and putting your hand in to reach for the grill clips although it takes more time.
Thanks Guys! but did not mange to unscrew the bolts so got to do it with brute force but met this nice young chap from Munich auto. He saw me removing the first 1 wrongly and come over to offer his help.
The first one suffer 2 broken clips but the second one with his professional assistance it was perfect.
Can see his passion with cars and getting the hands dirty before meeting up with his gf.
