Need help on rims and tyre sizes.

Hi bros and sis,
I am driving a 320I with 18inch rims, front : 245,40,18 Back: 265, 35, 18.
This is a set up by previous owner. I know nothing about staggered set up Please advise me

it depend on the rims width as well............front 9J and rear 10J?
what's wrong with this set-up? rub the fender?

J is the width size.....yes it is written on the rims........
or maybe you should be on: 225 40 18 and 255 35 18......(depend on tyres too as some tyres may be differrent size)





am on 235 35 19 and 265 30 19.....

Bro, Another question. I think mine is a BBS RS GT rims. I am not very sure is it that model or not, But looks the same.
That means i need to check whether is it 9J or 10 J, Can the J be adjusted?

is the car being lowered? thus do hard corner it rub........

If your issue is rubbing, check your offsets - are your rear wheels/tyres protruding out of your rear fenders (if viewed from rear)?

If not, just roll your rear fenders and you should be fine,

I am newbie on cars.
My car was lowered, Therefore when sit 4 people it rubs on the fenders. Tyre is should be abit protruding . ( i will take pictures tomorrow for you guys to view. I am not sure).

I am thinking of fix back the original Spring, Will it settle the problem? If not i will change back to original Rims .

Go to a reputable tyre shop and ask:

(1) are the offset of the wheels wrong?
(2) are the tyres' shoulder block too squarish?
(3) can rolling fenders solve the problem?

If the answers are NO to all three questions, raise the height of the car.
