Need help in buying a 320i E90 in Singapore

Hi All,

I need some advise on the costs of buying and owning a new 320i. Currently what's the best deal in town, what sort of goodies to squeeze the dealers for free and the sort of finance packages they would offer. It would be much appreciated if anyone can share their E90 320i ownership experience with me. Many thanks!

CHEERS!

Re: Need help in buying a 320i E90 in Singapore

If you do a search there are some threadsthat discuss this very extensively. However, I do believe the price range now is 128-132. BUT the big plus that you get now (that other bros did not get) is cruise control and electric folding mirrors. Depends on what you want, some have gotten a free rear boot spoiler, some have got a good deal changing to a larger rim, etc. BUT I think the stadfard you can expect are 3M car mats and an umbrella etc which should come with the car. Hope this helps. If you need a contact for an SE, let me know, but I think you shoul dhave one already.

Re: Need help in buying a 320i E90 in Singapore

You should also get a car care kit which contains some leather care stuff for your car's interior, car polish etc I just got my 320i (and didn't realise that the umbrella was meant as a freebie). If you need any help, drop me a PM.

Re: Need help in buying a 320i E90 in Singapore

me no umbrella, no car mat, no cruise control, no electric folding mirror, no boot spoiler.....what the hell

Re: Need help in buying a 320i E90 in Singapore

The umbrella is actually quite nice. It's like a big golf umbrella.

Eldwin, I think your e90 is the 'older' version which has no cc, foldable mirrors etc. No matter - no big loss. Ultimately, the car is nice :)

not sure if the $6888 rebate is still on, was supposed to end last weekend but with some luck, u may still get that. as for goodies, it depends on SE to SE...some super niao, others give some. as for finance packages, either u take the 3.5% interest rate with 5.25% cash back or just plain 2.88% with no cash back; which IMO, based on my calculations, the cash back deal seems better. cheers

Re: Need help in buying a 320i E90 in Singapore

The cash back deal is great if you don't sell the car within the first 3 years. If you do have plans to upgrade etc, you may want to reconsider this option. I can't recall how it worked exactly but have your SE go into the details. Ask all the questions necessary to address any doubts you may have.

I opted for the lower interest rate because I was considering an upgrade within the first 3 years. I know, it's ambitious but these days, nice cars come out so fast and it's hard to just sit around and watch. Ok ok... truth is, I wasn't sure if I'd be in Singapore for the next 3 years (may be posted elsewhere) so decided to play safe instead.

thanks guys! Usually how long is the delivery once you hae signed on the dotted line?

Re: Need help in buying a 320i E90 in Singapore

Would it be a good alternative to consider a 1 yr old E90 in the resale market instead? What do you guys think?
