I called PML and they said that my version is supposed to be the latest. They can't tell me when an update would be coming up. They don't know if I need to pay for it if it comes at all and they don't know if I need to call them or they call me if it does come.
In fact, they don't know anything at all!

Any advise?

Latest version u shld have is the 2003 version. If you wan to check, just go down to PML and exchange ur CD.

Alternatively, put ur CD in the PC and check the date of the map data there :)

Have you updated ur software to v.22? u can do in online :thumbsup:
 
Actually have u tried locating blocks using the car-parks feature? If you wan to search for HDB blocks, you are able to :wavey: using the information feature 8)

Firstly, Upgrade the software? ( u mean Nav software )? After downloading, how to upload into the car?

The information part of the Nav menu does not contain any HDB block details in my car's CD...perhaps u really have a newer version then?
My information only have things like Govt buildings, parks and recreation, industrial estates, etc...no numbered blocks addresses.
 
There is a notation on my CD stating that it is SG2003/1.0.

Put the CD in my PC. These are the info..Version 4.9, Date 2 April 2003, CD number 6335.

Does these make sense to anyone? Can anyone tell me if the disc is the latest available. Please help!

It appears to be the latest. Try this, go to PML and say you want the latest CD...I did that and exchanged 1:1 :wavey:
 
OK will try to go into website as u suggested. I'll also try to play with the Nav menu again to see if I can get the HDB block numbers that u were able to see in your system. If not, I would appreciate if we could meet up, perhaps over the wekend, and I can tap your knowledge. Thanks in advance!

If I go down to PML and ask for the latest CD...I might look stupid if I am actually holding on to the latest copy isn't it?
 
:) :) Believe me...most of the times...they look more stoopid than anybody else :)

In fact, had to advise them on the software stuff and upgrades too

U see if you know the street, area, road etc, u shld be able to find the HDB blocks.

Try this, under the information on destination, select vehicle, then parking, then select the road, block, etc...the relevant blocks will surface up.

Why not introduce yourself to the rest of the forum after you've settle your problem with the nav system? We have another doctor who's also active in this forum..
