I wonder why not? Since there isn't many new 318cic, 320cic on the market now as they are nearing the end of their product life, the 2.0L Z4 is suited JUST nicely in that market segment?

Just an opinion!

Woah....400hp, that's like the same power as the Z8. Since the Z8 was never offered in RHD, this is our chance.

Now the question begs, a Z4M or a 645cic? It'll be interesting to see how the Z4M is priced.

i reckon it shld be ard 300K max. anything more and i think its better off getting an m3 or 645.

Heard n read from somewhere be4 tat the Z4M is likely to take over the 343bhp inline 6 from the current M3, n the E90 M3 wld be getting the 4l V8 rating @400bhp.

hmmm, that could be better rite? since that heavy V8 will make the Z4M a very front heavy car. It's also unlikely they'll be able to sueeze a huge V8 in that space between the firewall and front axle to try and get closer to 50/50 weight distrubution and not compromise front collision safety?

eggz,

Hartge was able to squeeze the old M5 V8 tuned to 500bhp in the Z4 chassis. BMW shouldn't have a problem too. The Z4M will be a blast on the road whilst the 645 will be just a cruiser. For the same price, it's up to the driver.

Snail_Mobile,

The Z3M shared the S54 with the current M3 so why shouldn't the Z4M get the same V8 as the next M3?
