Nice ride bro, where did you change your interior?

Thx! I got it done at classic auto leather! I think they are site sponsor now so thats a great thing. Believe many forumers can vouch for their quality work + reasonable pricing.

Very awesome mods... not overbearing, yet very appealing to the eyes..
what was the damage for the leather upholstery if i may ask.

..I drive a late O5 E46 Cab as well ... looking forward to some great exchanges and some coffee in time.. Cheers

Re: My Tightie Whitie 46 Vert

Its been almost a year since my last post and been through some ups and downs with my vert. Most recently a flat rear that resulted in a change to brand new 2 x 265/30/19 tyres which rubbed incessantly.

However, after rolling my rear fenders, rubbing has been kept to a minimal. Totally digging the further lowered look right now and couldn't be happier. For a humble 4 potter, I think I'm done tinkering with the 46

The few mods and touch ups along the way as well in the past few mths so here's my latest look.

- BC Coilovers
- New stock rear brake rotors
- Sebring Exhaust
- Alcantara stitching ///M steering wheel with functional paddleshift
- Matte black recoated DPE R16s
- Realigned front bumper

Unable to ascertain a figure but from my gut feel, def got increase. Transplanting an xhaust meant for 6 potter onto 4 potter affects my pick-up noticeably as well.

That's really sad, dayum :(

Unless COE was like 10k there isn't any issues :(:(:(

Sigh I think it will never reach that mark. My threshold to renew is higher though. Maybe in '15 COE will be scrapped and we are charged purely on road usage lolx

Hai.. Ur post just make me miss my e46 cabriolet..
Still prefer the classic look and bigger boot space compare to e93.

I saw your prev thread on the following issue with your old ride dated nov 12:

"any previous owner of E46 or seniors can help?

experiencing problem with my E46.
Problem 1:
on "D" gear, theres only sound and vehicle wouldnt move. probably need to wait for few mins before slowly move off.
recently the issue seems to be worse as the car took longer to move.. otherwise i have to switch to manual gear 2 before it will engage.

problem was identified as gearbox prob by 3 mechanic. suggesting me to do an overhaul which would cost abt $5-6K.
alternative, replace with re-condition set which would cost $2-3K.
was considering re-condition set as my car is due to scrap 1 yr from now. kinda not worth it for major overhaul.
any advise on this solution? anything to look out for or pro n cons?

Problem 2:
anyone experience car "died" when on low rpm (my vehicle is 318ci auto)?
car "died" usually when i stop at traffic light.. or when im making a turn.
for the last 2 mths, it happen 10 times in total.
last it happen was when im making U-Turn and it "died" half way. Causing me to block up all 4 lanes.
Thank God its late night n theres no cars ard.
Mechanics has checked the car and even reset the setting but couldnt diagnosed any error resulting this.

Pls help if you have similar experience.
thanks. Appreciate all your help"

Now I'm facing problem 2 albeit its happened only once haha. I think problem 1 around the corner. Jia latz.. So did u find the root cause of the problem? Able to offer any advice?
