My E90 2005 engine very noisy

Hi guys! My 2005 E90 engine is very noisy! When my ride is park stationary I can hear the engine noise very loud when I'm standing beside my car. When my ride is on the move I also can hear the engine roaring loud.. Anyone know what is the issue? And there is exclamation mark logo beside my daily clocked mileage. What does that logo mean? I got gotten my ride! Very now to this E90, hope gurus here can enlighten me! TIA !

I am no guru.

These are my advices:
1. Get it diagnose in a specialised workshop
2. Specialised workshops are site sponsor
3. Don't ask which workshop is better (it is like don't ask which underwear is better)

U got an ! mark. Thats enuff to go garage to get it checked. Not much details in ur post imo but mine is also a e90 lci albeit 2010, i also find my ride loud compared to newer cars, but i attribute it more to age.

Chances are overhaul is needed. As a 2005 mileage easily 180k for normal usage. Mine is 195k km and engine also quite noisy but left 11months. So no point overhaul. Jus drive till it break dwn. When open the engine cover a lot of sludge already. Chances that will cause car to overheat easily too.
