Mute Driver safety belt beeping??

as anyone try to mute the beeping sound of the driver safety belt? I check with my regular workshop and was told that the fuction to unclick the selection was locked and not allow to select.. so not sure if anyone manage to do it.

Reason because in CP I prefer to remove the belt so that I can move freely when making turns and looking for lot...

I muted mine after first few days of receiving car.. It is a 3 mins job for
them, super easy... Also have lots of other functions you can activate..

seat belt stopper ... cost you $6 and you can move around easily with seat belt on ..

suitable for big stomach people like me ....

u just have to lock and unlock, don't have to remove it ...

since i started using it in 2004, i am like addicted to it. Its with me for the past 4 cars, still fully functioning and looks like new

there is a way of doing it. insert your key turn on ur ignition but don't crank. then u hv to put on n off n on n off exactly 27 times. b sure to count properly...if not u hv to shut the car off n re do.

you must be joking rite... if its true then everytime i start the car i need to repeat the cycle.. think it will drive me crazy...
i guess i will pay to solve the problem...

actually, there are few ways around it.

1. let the car roll extremely slow so as not to start off the beep approx 1km/h and since its in carpark you should be crawling deadslow anyway (i'm assuming cp is carpark and not changping).

2. Go to a workshop and buy a spare seatbelt buckle and click it in when u remove.

3. guide the seatbelt around the back of the carseat and clip it in. (possibly takes way too much time)

4. buy noise cancelling earphones / ear defenders to block out the beep.

I'm sure the bros and sis here have plenty of other solutions.

In fact other make has even tedious process ... U hv to complete a 30-times cycle within a timeframe of 1 min or less

How come BMW cannot tune volume of chime??

My E90 318 can tune the volume of chime, reverse sensor and S-volume
