It's actually just semi slick tyres, the Michelin Pilot Cup which is streetable and legal. The way it's been designed is basically just good enough to help evacuate water on wet road conditions.

Given the characteristics of such tyres, I am not surprised if the buyers were required to sign such disclaimer coz after all, it's a safety issue that BMW will try to "avoid" full responsibility in the even of accidents relating to the standard use of such tyres.

Apparently there is a number of fishtailing cases in Europe resulting in accident...

Read somewhere that they are using PS2 as their replacement tyre now..

you can opt out and choose the normal michelin pilot sport. you just have to tick that option.

imagine that, street tyres is now an "option"!!! but of course i'll go for the sport cup. heheh!! it's an extremely light tyre.

Yeah man.... go for the pilot sport cups... hehe... and then learn how to drift in the rain!!! Hahahah!

Are there actually any M3 CSLs running around in singapore ? I've been keeping a look out everywhere I go but so far only spotted 2 M3s
