any CAI that is loud enuff to scare the road hogger in front of me along the expressway? hee hee

ya shaaz car sound very fierce. nice.

but got a alternative for u - add a loud speaker system that emulate the turbo charge sound. u can then tune the loudless level according to how slow the road hogger is.

For a 4-pot, loudest CAI = Gruppe M. Loudest exhaust = Eisenmann or AC (Remus).

Ya I think the loudest for the non valvetronic 318 is to install a Blitz..... So loud and so much vibration !!! Hahaha...

but how loud can it be?

once i had nothing better to do so i took out my air filter and removed the lid of my airbox and revved it all the way to redline.... even in the enclosed space of a car park, it didn't sound that loud at all lei... somemore mine 2.5L. or maybe i'm deaf.

there was once a num 9 yellow Gallardo came to my block. even on 4th floor, my house tremble together with the car. unbelieveable feeling.

i think it will set off a few alarms if he drive into the multi storey car park. ha

Bro, doing it that way will never sound loud.

It sound roars only when its on load, ie, on the move. Try it !!! U might be surprised hehe

haha, drive around without filter and box? i'm scared it'll suck in too much crap from the construction sites nearby... i'll probably get a drop in panel filter and see how it sounds.

there's a new brand called Helene Performance, previously known as Streamline Engineering....... got rave reviews on overseas forums so maybe i'll use that.

wow! heard gallardos b4..but didnt think it was that loud..all i saw was black smokes comming out of the 2 pipes.. some civic or subaru are louder!

U might also want to note that to make the engine roars louder and heard by others, u can remove that layer of sound insulator underneath the bonnet.

Don't do that if you're driving the valvetronic cos your car will definietly sound like a comfort taxi after that.
