Lotus Drift/Training Courses

Well my dear friends, some of you may remember that I mentioned ar a possible Driver/drift training course in Lotus cars, now is the time if you are interested. I know some of you would be interested in this.

Here's the info (feel free to share it with whomever you like as long as he/she is a nice person ;o) and can become a good friend, you will be liable for it ;o) ):

Lotus car drift training course, using Lotus Asia Pacific cars, not our own cars:

After having a successful set of four drift driving courses with the support of Lotus Asia Pac and Eurosports in Singapore, we finally are able to offer more coursesin 2007. PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE DATES WHICH YOU GUYS THINK ITS FEASIBLE AND WE'LL TRY TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Place: Sepang International Circuit carpark

Number of people per instructor: Three

Time: two groups (six people each): 8am to 12 noon 1st group and 2nd group from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Date: TBC

As you already know, there is a limit to 6 people per session and 12 people per day so please let me know your preference of day and time and I will try to accomodate you all as best as possible.

Cost: S$750 per person (no changes since last time even though more sets of tyres than originally thought were used ;o) ). Payment direct to Lotus Asia before Course collected by my Isaac Tsachmann, organizer for this event.


Non Lotus owners are welcome to participate

If necessary, I will get my neighbour talk to Lotus Asia Pacific to set more dates for those who cannot make it on any of those two dates, if there is enough people for them to cover their costs.

Feel free to ask any questions, I will respond as soon as possible.

Remember each session, there will be ONLY 6 people. The seggregation of morning and afternoon sessions will be decided when we reach there. We'll draw lots if we have to, so as to avoid any discontent. For now, those keen, please fill up the list accordingly so that i can process it once we hit target and that the dates can be met.

ok can we be greedy and organise lotus drift session for morning of a day when we can book the track for a TD in afternoon boh?

anytime after march 23rd(school exams... please give chance) is good for me.

As far as i know, if the date we choose, we can go for the drift course, u guys can go ahead and book for TD as well. Let me know the dates early so that i can make it happen. Its all abt timing.

So if its after March 20th, 24th is the weekend Saturday. From there, you guys see whcih date is feasible and i will talk to the organizer.

the dates are what you choose. Give me a handful of possible dates you guys are looking at. then the organizer will choose the ones workable. Either way, its at our benefit.

Noted we have 5 now. Pls update list for those keen. If there is more than 6, then i am afraid the other 6 will have to go another day. i will check if the drift course is only on weekends or not. But if memory serves, it is on satuday and sunday so far i know. Weekdays unlikely. Even for most of us weekdays is tiring itself and most of us are working 5/7.

Have uploaded some photos of how its gonna look like. One of the drivers [NOT ME] ripped the rear fender while drifting when the tire shredded due to extreme heat and continous powersliding. But no matter, there is a good supply of tires.
