Lets say I found this nice engine .....
Lets say It looks and feels like an M3 engine
Lets say that I wanna pop this engine and replace my current non-M engine
Lets say that the project is going well
Lets say that I am enjoying the ride.
Les say that the car looks like a sleeper

Now 1 problem.
Lets say that Inspection is in 2 months time.

One, let's say you have the option of lupping this new block in after 2 months...... then this is of no issue.

Two, let's say yours is a 6-potter IL6 and you could lup in the S50B30 or S50B32 block. Let's say you could get one workshop to send in for inspection. Before that, let's say the workshop gotta tell you the physical differences between your stock engine block and your new M3 block. Let's say you could spot the differences, but only after it was explained to you. Would this be a concern?

I am obviously no guru here, but the least I can tell you this has been done. As to whom this has been implemented, we shall correspond via other means......
