Leather Key Holder

Need some advice on how to remove the car key from the leather key holder/pouch for my e46. I would like to switch between my 2 keys, and only have one key holder. Seems like I should pull at the plastic stay/hinge, but I'm afraid of breaking something. Anyway, does anyone have a spare key holder to sell?

Re: Leather Key Holder

Go buy another holder lah... not very ex . Once the plastic clip ( the one with the BMW logo) is removed, the bugger becomes very loose.

Cheers

Re: Leather Key Holder

pull at the correct side. give the knob a little twist. if it can rotate, then you can pull at it directly outwards. nothing will break. except that after that it'll be looser than a whore on a busy night.

Yup, now I remember. I think I paid around $28 at PML.

Re: Leather Key Holder

Braun Buffel makes leather key holders that are very nice and fits BMW key very nicely. I have both models, brown and black. Cost is quite cheap too.

Re: Leather Key Holder

think someone is selling the PML one in the bazaar...

Re: Leather Key Holder

Yeah I have one with the pouch and i find it irritating to use... I prefer the leather ones from UK, use to buy them at Jacksons (selegie) but he has closed shop about 5 years back. Now have to order from UK ........ I also got a nice one from Canada with the original Motorsport logo.....
