Kelleners Rims & 19' over 18'

Hi all

Has anyone heard of this German tuner brand Kelleners for rims? Booked a 8.5x19" Vegas 2 with 235/35/19 F1 Assymetric tyres to replace my E90 stock set. Had gone into shop with intending on a set of 18'.

Before I confirm the choice, wonder if I could hear from bros here on whether going for 19" instead of 18' is seriously a bad move in terms of fc and handling. Thanks!:)

Re: Kelleners Rims & 19' over 18'

I think there are more people who regretted going to 18 instead of 19.

The FC and riding comfort is still okay , remember this is a continental ride.

Just my observation from various postings.

Cheers

Re: Kelleners Rims & 19' over 18'

Go for the 19"s. Assuming another $20 of petrol per month for using 19"s.

But the look - priceless !!!

Re: Kelleners Rims & 19' over 18'

for handling and FC. 18" is wised. but for priceless look, 19" would be great. whichever it is. staggered its a MUST.

Re: Kelleners Rims & 19' over 18'

Definitely 19"...unless you track but then again, you would buy a separate set of 18" for track day.

I'm on 20" on my E92, gr8 for driving around town here but heavier and you've gotta watch the potholes if you drive to Malaysia.

Re: Kelleners Rims & 19' over 18'

19" to go mate..............looks alone is another 100bhp gained......

hope e rest agrees..............

cheers

Re: Kelleners Rims & 19' over 18'

Ok thanks guys for sharing your views! Appreciated. More convinced now that I didnt make the wrong choice. My other alternative wld be a OEM 18" style 162 w RFTs. But from what i've read, we're better off w/o the heavier rims and hard ride tat comes w the RFTs.

20bucks for lower fc is really not too bad! Guess e only compromise i'd have to learn to live w is the slower startoffs, and the minor concession of misleading speedometers showing higher numbers ha.

Thanks daywalker!:) Had wanted to post a pic i took of the rims at the shop but it exceeded the max size allowed.

Say, seems this brand is not quite as established (at least on tis isle) judging from the comments..

Re: Kelleners Rims & 19' over 18'

Whatever brand you are looking for, go for the 19". I changed from 17" to 18" when I took delivery of the car, eventually I went for the 19". If there is any chance you can compare the look side by side for 18 and 19. you can get the answer straight away.

anyway, i then kerbed the rims so bad that i decided to change again:(

End of the day, just follow your heart but definitely go 19!

No, that pix is Matt black Sheen (black painted spoke with polish surface)... nice!
I took gun metal bcoz it look like brake dust... so, less cleaning for me. Yes, till now I still love the design. But, be careful of the lip, very easy to get dent or scratches if u hit the tyre side wall.
