Been quite sway recently, so started looking for more anti sway bar for my 4 pot f10.
The ang mohs and hongkongers already installed the m5 front sway bar and a 16mm rear sway bar from the m550d and 650i convert.
Some ang moh website was selling the front and rear for about $800sgd, shipped with gst. Shipping and gst was already close to $200.
So I ringed up my favourite workshop...was quoted 1k plus for the front and another 500 or so for the rear. Labour was $180 with bring your own parts. Expensive part, cheap labour. They don't think it can fit though...
Called stockist, was quoted about about 800+ for font and rear. Reasonable, but there was a problem. The front sway bar came with bushing. The rear sway bar didn't. The stockist wants $140sgd for each rear bushing, and 2 are needed. i.e. it will cost another $280 for bushing. Might as well get online, shipped to my door step.
Messaged a popular workshop. They can supply part and labour for about 11XX before gst. But there was yet another problem...they don't pick up phone, nor reply sms. Yup, I tried msging and calling for a week...
So no choice, being poor and stingy, I did my own research into what fits and what doesn't...yup, I very bad, enquire for price liao, then never do...

According to bmw part list, there are few types of front sway bar for non x-drive f10.

What's the difference?
31356777933 is what comes with 520i, 523i, 528i, 530i, 520d, 525d...etc etc..and anything that has less power than a n55. All are non m-sport, non 704A suspension. Weirdly, this is also speced to be for f06 gran coupe and f13 coupe, n55, when you spec in electronic dampers.
31356791924 is what comes with your 535i non m sport. This is apparently 24mm. However, this is also the front arb for 520i, 523i, 528i,...etc etc, IF AND ONLY IF you have the m sport 704A option. This is also a f06, f11, f12, f13 part.
So what happens if you have a 535i m sport? You get the 31356791925, which is also 24mm?? I guess. This is also the arb for various other m sport model. Interestingly, the f11 535i non m-sport comes with this, instead of the 31356791924.
31356793395 (which I assume is also 24mm??) comes with the f11 535i m sport suspenion. This is also the stock arb for 550i f10. The werid thing is that there is NO 550i m sport front arb...weird.
Then what about 31352284460? This is the stock m5 f10 part, that has been fitted successfully to many many other lesser f10s. Some had problem with the eps module blocking, some had problem with x-drive...but generally, 520i, 523i, 528i, 535i, sedans should be ok...
