Just sharing my personal experience, switching from 17" to 18", runflats to non-runflats:

Previous 17"
- BMW style 138 Rims
- Potenza RE050 Runflats
- 23.5kg per wheel/tyre set (inflated)

Current 18"
- Mille Miglia 1000 EVS
- F1 GS D3 - German
- 25 kg per wheel/tyre set (inflated)

- BACKGROUND: Stock setup, except for recently installed H&R swaybars, front and rear, at firmest settings.

- ADDITIONAL WEIGHT: I was worried about the additional 1.5kg unsprung weight, but it didn't show. My guess is that ROTATIONAL weight matters more than static weight, and that the much lighter non-runflats was key

- RIDE HARSHNESS: New F1's were substantially more comfortable than the 10K km Runflats - I could feel the edge of manhole covers on the runflats, I don't miss that at all.

- STEERING RESPONSE: Much reduced. If anything the runflats were useful for, it was for steering precision due to its structural rigidity (beyond the sidewalls). The F1's were at the other end (soft sidewall) but probably have to scrub-in the tyres to get more friction/feel going.

With the increase in the unsprung weight, couple of noticeable differences u will see are: reduced acceleration, increase in FC and increased braking distance. However, your handling should be better now esp with the H&R swaybars. Enjoy the mods and do join us at meet up if u can.
