Jack for E39 will work with E60?

Hi Folks,

Since changing to PS2s I've got hold of a 2nd hand tyre with 16inch rims as a spare for my E60. Only thing missing is a jack

Propel Scrapyard will sell me a E39 jack for $30, anyone knows if I can use it for the E60? Should be OK rite? since both cars weigh about the same?

any comments on the dangers of doing this?

I think the jack would be used for last resort. Try buying a cannister of those tyre repair which cost only 6 bucks or alternatively try asking PML how much does a M3 tyre pump cost...

Thanks Alan, I already got the airman tyre repair kit from j4c.

The full size spare tyre and jack are for drives up north, better to be safe.
