Combox for rides beginning from Sep 2010 production will see many improvements in connectivity as it replaces the TCU, it will be the key component for all telematics, USB and BT integration functions; including In-car Office with calendar, notes and tasks from your BT mobile. Call list and contact images, email, text-to-speech, album cover art, BT audio streaming.
I am wondering if the iPad will see full compatibility with the Combox as most mobile phones on the market now DO NOT have full compatibility - software updates on either the phone or the Combox would hopefully solve the problem.

Looking at the BT profiles here for iPhone, iPod and iPad, it is no wonder why they do not have full connectivity with the latest Combox's office functions - missing is the Message Access Profile which RIM Blackberry has already implemented with BMW.:furious:
The iPhone's phonebook and phone functions will still work though:boring:
