I'm just afraid of the high discharge error msg. I've read some bros here facing that. So much so they have to turn off parking recording...either by switch or buy unplugging the power supply.
But this is not desirable. So I'm waiting for this solution.

I'm using itronics itb100 so far so good a slightly older model tho the new and improved version from blackvue 550 is out now includes wifi.
Easiest method is buy from qoo10 and install in soon lee auto $30 he hides all the wires nicely. Screw the local warranty as savings can be $100+ or more if it spoils i'll get the latest one from the internet.

All to common thing I see from people (or those who intent to) about such worries.

You wana try the cameras sold by AD themselves? I only know Munich Auto (no idea abt PML) now sells BMW in-vehicle HD cameras for installation. Dont get me wrong, I have no affiliation to MA nor am I using that camera.

Simple solution is to have it wired so that it works when the car is running only not in the 24hr mode if youre afraid of the high discharge error. My E93 335 didnt have that issue running it 24hrs stright I used the higher cutoff on the power magic pro. However my e60 had the high discharge error msg so I removed the constand 24hr recording. You can upgrade to a bigger car battery it might do the trick or keep it simple and only run it when the car is on. Soon lee auto does a good job and clean as no wires can be seen

Fantastic info. Higher setting means 11.6v cut off to 11.8v or 24hrs to 8 hrs?

I used the 11.8v cutoff, my current camera is the ITB100 but the rest of my family is using the newer blackvue 550 cost is approx $240 on qoo10 with free delivery install is $30 total spent is $270 and how much is the local AD charging ?
