I need some feedback from the bros here.
As I browse around on sgcarmart, I came across a dealer that imports relatively new 335 cabs (only a few months old) with extremely low mileage (a few hundred km). The cars have fully loaded options (idrive, gps, paddle shift, latest gear box, etc). They claimed that it will be maintained by agent. As I was curious to know more, I paid them a visit and found the following:
1) Selling price $199K (more than $50K cheaper than buying from PML)
2) OMV $55K ( PML's car OMV $75K)
3) 2 year Warranty by PML with unlimited mileage. Engine and chasis number registered in PML system.
4) The imported cars were show room car in UK (hence very low mileage)
Based on the above, the depreciation is lower than buying the same car from PML (with less options). The only down side is that the Parf rebate is valid for 10 years from the original date of registration (but in this case the difference is only a few months) and if you need to take loan, you will have to use a higher rate of a used car. COE will be for 10 years and every other paper works seems as though you are buying a new car.
Looks like a good deal to me unless there are some other hidden facts. Any bro you has any comments or feedbacks? I would like to hear from you. Thanks.
