My iDrive went kuku today.
Anyway I can reset or must go back pml?

kinda like hang. Vol control seems retarded.
vol goes up n down.

My car barely a year old.
too early for a change.

wonder if tis is common here.
from my earlier link, seems like a frequent occurrence.

Gonna try it.
hope its just as simple as pressing and holding both cd eject+vol button for 30s

Above doesnt work.
On the older CCC like in early E90 it was "Eject+Power button" to reset

Gonna try tis later:
On the newer CIC ( like F10, E90 LCI and F30) its "Hold down the Volume(power) button for 25 Seconds" to reset the system

15 second will restart the CIC. But it is only restart, which is done automatically every morning you turn on your ride.

Yup.
reset doesn't work.
worked fine for a while then its back.
the audio control knob just seem to hang, only can work using the steering vol control. Other functions work normally.

Audio Control is related to the AC panel IHKC.

Did you do anything on the AC panel? Is the 1 2 3 ...9 buttons works well?

All buttons on that panel not working now.
Nothing done to the 1,2,3

Only mod done was the addition of an aftermkt rev cam 1.5yrs ago.
That's still working fine.

I tried updating the idrive. That didn't work. Only worked after I reset it again the next day. No issue ever since.
