i-drive and iphone 4G

got feedback from fellow bimmer owner in the US that the latest iphone4G is not pairing properly bluetooth wise with i-drive phone system. the 3Gs was working in his ride but not the 4G.. i believe he has older generation i-drive ie..non hard drive multi button based..

if you have iphone 4G..can you feedback what is your experience in the bluetooth pairing on the idrive (older or latest generation)..
