Though I own m3 but my m3 full loan.. Living from hand to mouth to feed the m3 le with. My $3000 monthly salary...Hahahaha.. Should have bought used import, not so xiong.. Haha.. That's why I M3 also don't dare comment much, let alone 335.. Hahahahaha..

i was shocked when my wife told me the f30 nav screen cannot retract.

If u look at the current design, the dash does not have much space to place the wide screen within a hood-area, thus the protrude look. As to why it stays érected' and not folding in like Audi, I guess BMW is simple like Porsche, get the vital things done, dun be fanciful, frequent usage of the sliding mechanism will render faults one day, and u seriously prefer a constant erection than ED :nehnehhh::nehnehhh::nehnehhh:

This thread is actually about COEs, but just my 2 cents about the F30's screen...not having a hood actually allows the whole dashboard to have a sleeker profile, and the screen itself (as one magazine described it) looks like a half-iPad embedded in the dashboard, which is not that bad considering how nice the iPad design is.

Of course, I must declare my bias...waiting for my F30 335i...

Yup - Porsche interiors are really utilitarian and nothing fanciful. Need to step on the pedal to hear the flat 6 and experience the joy

Haha yes. Didn't feel it was this noisy during test drive. Now I feel quite self conscious about the sound. Lol. Having said that, this car drives better than my ex ride, an Alfa 159.

On a lighter note, at least one of the variants of Z4 has the N20 engine too! Wonder if that particular Z4 sounds like a taxi too. Hahaha.
