Is there any template/contact that I can use to write in to BMW AG regarding the BMW MINI that I'd purchased in Dec'10? Its been problematic just 3 weeks into the ownership ever since. Had feedback to the ppl @ MINI workshop (23 Leng Kee Road) that the gearbox felt 'weird' as it was very jerky & even demonstrated the symptoms to the Head Mechanic. Unwillingly, they had my chain tensioner replaced (knowingly that its a common faulty issue with most MINI's) first & then to monitor further.

2 months later, same problems came back again, if not worse. Same thing again; feedbacked to the workshop guys. "Ding-dong" here & there and eventually had my MINI checked into the workshop for the necessary rectifications. Left it there for a week, and was informed that the gearbox & aircon compressor were replaced. Happily, I drove it out & the same old problems arose again just 5 mins in the drive home. Called the CSO & was informed to 'monitor' further as its "normal" and it may get better (WTF again.. )

What sucks more is that they're playing the "tai ji" game with me, by first claiming I'd upgraded to 17inch rims (OEM by the way) which affected the gearbox (WTF?!). Showed them my black face & they claimed that its my driving style.. (WTF again.. )

Long story cut short, I'm damn pissed that the issues for my ride hasn't been resolved & the problems only got worse. Can anyone help? My apologies for ranting here. Sibei sianz liao..

Tell them PML and BMW Asia are too damn useless that they can't solve your problem.

If that does not work, write to the CEO of BMW Ag.

By the way, don't believe if they say they change this and that. Normally if they did change the gearbox, chances are it will be a different feel to the whole thing right? They are just playing a fool and trying to make you think everything is normal. Their standard practice la. So better bang some peoples head or table if nothing moves when you are there. Usually it works. Or you can go disturb potential customers inside the showroom saying your car 3 weeks old and so mnay problems already. It's so beautiful to see how the Sales Adviser looks at you. Then watch and see how fast their legs move to help you out. Dogs....

Things should work MUCH MUCH faster for you after this. :juggle:
