How do u know when to change battery for F30 320i?

Recently my almost 3 years (2 years 10 months) 320i started to have the radio sound off and the display screen off when ever the auto start stop turn on after off. Once engine started the radio came back and screen come back.

Is this indication battery weak?

Also my iPod also can read well often off and go back to radio on its own.

Any advise?

Just to check if you have habit to off your aircon and headlamps before starting the car. Heard these 2 devices drains battery juice mostly, thus shortening battery lifespan. Gurus, I stand corrected.

No, I just start and go off. Headlamp is set to Auto. If I am correct, headlamp only turn on after engine started, same as aircon I think. Thx

During startup, all other electrical items will be temporarily off.

Out of habit I always off aircon b4 kill engine, in my E90
But SE say no need..for F30

Do you have the batt indicator at your dashboard to monitor your Auto Start/Stop batt status?
