Here's the part that makes me indecisive.... 1) Design and quality wise, I definitely go for 1st rim, 2) Branding and prolly resale value, it shld be 2nd rim(BBS)... Hence its like choosing the rims with my heart or my mind lol...

I'll be heading down to the rim shop again today and likely to make a decision. Tough decision:yikess::yikess::yikess:

wt_know, I prolly choose NB02.. Prefer lesser spokes and also the ease of cleaning lol...... Tendency to be lighter as well

my heart goes with NB02 for now
currently on 5-spokes and previously on 10-spokes.
so, probably want to have a different taste for next wheel

kenn has his point, 5/6/7 spokes look awesome in coupe but sedan is someday good someday bad ... like weather

1st one cos more unique, no need 2nd to stand the test of time unless u wan hold your ride to stand the test of time. In fact a lot of mesh design are 1 piece on the roads, so if yours is 2 piece more sart cos got that thin lip

These 2 rims are my shortlist. I will have to decide real soon lol....

I need honest opinion which 1 looks nicer on my E90 Sapphire Black?

Btw, price of both rims almost the same with staggered design.

Additional info: top is 2-piece forged T6-6016 and btm is low pressure cast 1 piece hence weight shld be abt the same for both design at abt 11kg each

these are the rims that i have used and using

1st set = OEM 193M

current set = Miro 942 (OEM 313 reps)

price is competitive.

i forgot this is for 18" or 19"
1 piece forged $500+- per piece
2 piece forged $700+- per piece

anyway, prodrive/volks 19" 1-piece forged is $900-$1000 per piece. you can use this as a benchmark. since bc forged is taiwan made and reputation is not as high as prodrive/volks, it's pricing should be more competitive

try to compare with BBS 'cheapest' forged wheel

i'm comparing taiwan forged vs japan forged and also flow forming wheel like advan rs, wedsport, etc (19" $850+- price range).
just you know, flow forming is not a true forged wheel. but, it's also light and strong, which is much better than standard gravity and low pressure cast wheel.

Will u buy?

We have the same budget and same types of rim to consider lol. If u dun mind cast and low pressure cast, there is a japan rim "work genosis" abt same price and it's 2pc rim. Quite heavy at 14kg I think. Rays 2pc are not full forge either, only the barrels are forged and the face is cast hence weight slightly lower abt 13-14kg. Rays 2pc more exp though.

I am slamming in my Forgestar next week finally. Can only comment about this set of flow-formed rims after testing it out.

Flow forming is NOT Forged.(is a light weight construction method)
OZ ultra Leg is Flow forming product which is ultra light and carry lower load index which meant thinner rim so is more prompt to be dented.
Unlike normal cast wheel (good quality one) give you lighter weight compared with your existing of OE rim but yet stlll very strong.
There are some light weight flow forming wheel yet still very strong(higher load index) available in the market like BBS CH/CHR/CXR/CM(not all model) and also german brand ATS does have the flow forming wheel product model call Racelight
