HKS 5W40 super NA engine oil

used HKS turbo lube on my previous car... engine felt smooth and quiet but there was a little oil consumption ard 4,000 km

a bit pricey though.

Im considering Motul @ 1st for my 1st 10k oil change, but was told tat HKS super NA 5W40 r slightly cheaper than Motul. If I remember correctly, Motul per liter @ $34.00 & HKS per liter @ $28.00.

I guess I will give it a try & will FR till then ba.. Seems more ppl prefer MOBILE. :shock:

Im considering Motul @ 1st for my 1st 10k oil change, but was told tat HKS super NA 5W40 r slightly cheaper than Motul. If I remember correctly, Motul per liter @ $34.00 & HKS per liter @ $28.00.

I guess I will give it a try & will FR till then ba.. Seems more ppl prefer MOBILE. :shock:

Hi Fadhly, thanks for sharing.

Not too sure bout bigger CC rides but my previous rides (GD1) drive was not tat good with Royal Purple 5W40, Redline 10W40. Break down @ 7k usage.

Engine oil Ive used so far are:

idemitsu 5W40, 10W40
Red line 10W40
Royal Purple 5W40
Motul 5W40, 10W40
Bizol 0W30, 5W40

prevous car (GRB) i always change oil 4.5k around there!!!

Dont mention, we r here to share share.

So far Bizol 0W30, 5W40, Texas 5W40 can tong till next oil change (est: 9k usage) But also depending on settings of rides too.. Was on lean setting & E90 stock setting r also more towards lean thus should b somewhat e same (I guess)

GRB is a good ride too & good to have it service early.

FR on HKS Super NA Racing 5W40

Upon oil changed, engine becomes very quiet & smooth.. Very willing to pull & felt light on oil weights.

Not bad (for now) & will FR during 5k usage.
