Hi folks,

never knew there was a bmw forum, so am glad that i found you guys.

Am 22 this year, and currently serving my NS.

Currently do not own a vehicle, but am looking for a E36 318IA or 318I 91-93 model.

You guys know of any good deals in the market now? Am setting aside a budget of 18k-22k for the purchase. And a further 2k aside for intial servicing and parts changing. Hopefully this is enough.

Could you guys alert me of any good deals, and what i would need to look out for before a purchase.

Am glad to be here and looking forward to be a owner, and also a member of this community.

SC :)

Young boy... can go for coupe!!
but roadtax & insurance sure to kill u...
my advise, do your maths again...

Re: Hi There Fellow Members

Any other info you can provide dpointt?

maybe how much does full tank amount to? And whats the mileage a full tank can take me to?

many thanks again.

p.s. Have paid attention to the road tax and insurance thingy. Its been looked at :)

Would prefer the 4dr for its insurance being cheaper but think the 2dr just looks really sweet. Would eventually make a pratical decision thou.

Coupe, probably easier to look like Elegant Pai-Kia but NOT beng...

U should get easily 10Km/litre if manual, not too sure about auto (think its lower) though cos I am a manual convert since I started driving my coupe about 1 year ago
For a full tank, I hit about 550km +/- about 80% city drive...
Not heavy footed though... search the thread for fuel consumption, am sure there are plenty being discussed previously...

Couple of grand easily for insurance and roadtax each year especially if you do not have NCD... Good luck in your findings, one word of advise... buy directly from owners! cheers :)
