hi guys, im posting from Botswana and drive an E46 that is originally from Singapore and imported into Botswana sometime last year.

I see that this forum is very usel in trying to understand a lot about the BMW so i am looking forward to enjoying the comments and guidance.

if anybody knows how to get information about my car, i would very much appreciate it. The VIN number is WBAAM12070FN00128 and the engine number is 33631991206S4. i need to know its history and what has been done to it. som records show PML but there isnt much. and hopefully i can meet its previous owner and tell him that i still take care of his baby...

thanks guys...yeah a lot of Singapore cars come to Botswana and a lot of other countries in Africa. to us they are cheaper than buying locally.

the car is working fine except that there are a few things that need to be replaced. our roads have a lot of potholes and i had to replace the shocks because i understand they are not suitable for our road conditions.
the car also seems to be sensitive. like airbag sensoir underneath the paasenger seat. if anything touches it, the light on the dash goes on until i reset it. does anyone who has an e46 get such?
if anyone knows what other problems i may face, please advice.
