Hi All,

Just joined after peeking around a bit. So happy to see so many passioned ones around. Bit about myself..

I'm passional about engineering and cars - particularly the ones everybody else thinks should be on the scapheap. I've fought many lonely battles resurrecting and reviving oldies into daily drivers, getting them 100% on par with the modern $$$ cars - with the most epic undertaking a Russian army jeep couple of years ago.

My ride in Singapore for last couple of months - E30 320i '88... and damn, that is a nice small-6 block! My share of blood/sweat & tears so far:

* Timing Belt job - DIY (and boy - what a fun is that..)
* Injector Cleaning - DIY
* Full HV electrics replacement - DIY
* Fuel Pump - hoses - pressure regulator - DIY
* Intake Manifold all gaskets + bellow (vacuum leak) - DIY (and boy - what a fun is that..)
* Starter Motor
* Shocks & springs all round
* Lower Control arms & all bushings
* All rear swingarm bearings & bushings
* Propshaft bearing * rubber
* Swaybar rubbers &
* ahyah... too much to mention... so yeah.. I guess I am a freak.

And all the above without my wife divorcing me....

Anyway - so I'm hooked to the BMW crowd for the near future..

Hope to see you one day at a meeting or in the forum - don't hesistate to ask any q's about the work I've done on my E30 - I hope I can help anyone out with the same plans.

Joshua,

Ride's looking pretty sweet.
Happy family seems a perfect match to the B&W image.

Kudos to one who isn't afraid to roll up his sleeves....
It's a rare breed down in these parts.
