Hi, advice on '06 E90 320i please..

greetings bros n sisters.. got some query and hope to get some advice from bros here about getting an '06 E90..

Hv feedback that bimmers after warranty period, the problems will start to surface.. and that gearbox is a very costly thing to replace if it's really kaput..

What are the things I should be looking out for before I agree to buy, and after I buy.. I just have this fear that an over 4 yr-old E90 will start to have lotsa wear and tear issues..

Anyone, especially those driving 4-5 yr old E90, please advise.. comment..

Hi SBG,

not all after warranty period the problem will surface cause it all depends on the regular maintenance given to the car plus the driving style of previous owner (it plays apart).
Mileage is one of the key point.......

you may try PML Kg Arang too........( in searching for a used Bimmer )

Hey SBG,

I just got one '06 E90 recently. It's ONE of the side mirror. Cost me 820 bucks just to replaced the whole thing! Other than this there's no big issue as the first owner took good care of it quite well. There will be always wear n tear after 4 years but u better pray that it's not the gearbox! Happy Hunting!

if budget allows go for the LCI (facelift) model.......only thing is the high COE for the brand new one now (sianz)

Yeah I'm actually trying work out my budget toasted that. Seems like I may just go for 318i. Many said it's underpowered.. And that flooring the pedal will let the engine sounds overwork.. But I guess I'm ok with the power wise. One thing that I'm thinking is the rear aircon.. It's got no rear aircon.
