Help Me! Should I Sell or Keep my E39??

I can't seems to make up my mind whether I should sell or keep my E39.

Part of the reason why I wanted to sell is pressure from parents (they urging me to sell),
high maintenance cost (just replaced the AC compressor for over $800), and I think I have to replace something again.....
high installment ($863 a month for around 4yrs left).
applying for SIM studies (not confirm if I will get it though)

If I should let go the car, I will be eyeing either a S13 or an old WRX liao.

Wonder if its worth selling the car or should I just keep it.

Hmm if you are having trouble upkeeping it, you should sell it. Especially if you start studying again! Sure pay until heartpain de..

i think you should just keep it. there will be not much of a difference in expenditure or maintenance if you intend to get another old car.

I have a definite emotional attachment to E36, but for E39, I would say sell.

old S13 / WRX ain't gonna be that cheaper to maintain man... will need rebuilds again and insurance will be a killer in comparison

WRX insurance is hovering about $7-8k w/o NCD for sub-30.
(if they even want to insure you) How old are you again?

WRX alot insurer decline model.
Just for ur consideration;
age52 NCD20% $3003.00 AIG.
age24 NCD 0% average ~$9000.00 (based on a 2007 model)

just sell & study la.

so long most of the wear n tear parts are changed, i dun think you will have anymore upcoming issue on the E39......great car though....and not many car drives like a BMW (Sheer Driving Pleasure)................

work out what's your priority.....if budget allows of course keep it......

go with your heart....we only live once.........
