Help! Is radiator covered under warranty

Hi gurus,

I recently went for my 50k servicing at MBM and they said that my radiator has a leak. So i said my car is still under warranty (about 3 weeks left to 3 years or 100k) but MBM said that radiator is only covered for 2 years or 40k. It's costs $1k+ to replace the radiator. I went back to look at my sale agreement (bought the car from Pr**e Cars) and it states 3 years warranty of parts and 3 years free labour servicing. So i called up the SA to check and he said they assigned MBM for warranty and diagnose and hence they follow MBM warranty. What kind of BS is this? During the entire sales process, the SE didnt mention a word on this arrangement with MBM and he said they provide 3 years warranty just like everyone else.

Any advice?

Not sure about MBM warranty but when I had my E60, my warranty was under PML.

About 5 months before the end of the 3rd year, the car's over heating indicator came on. PML said then that there was an issue with the radiator. They replaced a new radiator with no questions asked. In short, in my case - it was covered.

Sorry about your situation but it seems there's some tai chi going on....

hi TS at the end of yhe day, mbm can replace as long as your Pi give the go ahead as they will be likely to pay for it. so just bang tabke with your PI. prob with PI is once they earn yiur money, any issue will likely to ta chi. who wants to fork out 1k plus if they can ta chi?

I tried to bang table with the SA that served me but no use. They said they outsourced the diagnostic and warranty to MBM so they have to follow MBM policy. I demanded the manager to call me but no one did. Should i go to CASE to make a complaint to try to get them to commit the warranty?

yes u shd, ur contract is with ur dealer, not MBM. What ur dealer agreed with MBM is none of ur business.

Precisely what i think. Just submitted to CASE online. Let's see what happens.
