Handbrakes quiries

Halo guys , just want to know if i pull the handbrakes while on stationary positon and engage to D mode wifout stepping on the accelerator ...shud my car be moving or shud still be stationary ?? apparrently my car is still moving but slowly of cos...isit means my handbrakes is worn out ? isit cover by warranty ??

not worn out, that means u need to pull the handbrake even higher!

go get your handbrake cables / links adjusted. it gets loose sometimes.

but even if your car moves in D whilst handbrake is on, doesn't matter. Put it in P?

yea about the handbrake getting loose issue, i sometimes feel that it is not "tight" enough even when i pull all the way up when parking on steep inclines.

so i guess may need to bring to workshop for tightening?

Like Jinooi said.... check the cables or check the lever.... tighten it n it shld b fine....
