Can any bros here advise if this E92 rear diffuser can fit onto a E90 stock 335 rear bumper too??? Where can i get this???
Cannot. Hamann has a different diffuser for the E90. See below......

Can I ask what exhaust mufflers are you using? This diffuser can only fit Hamann quads, not Supersprint or Arqray quads.

You can get this diffuser from KBS.

Actually it can be fitted onto a E90 335 stock bumper. But it will look like this, with stock exhaust:

It would be able to fit onto the stock E90 335 bumper. A fellow E90 335 owner has it on his car. PM Keen to find out more about installing it. Remember that the diffuser is for quad tips, hence the oval gap.

That's not my ride, the photo is of a friend's E92 335, who fitted the hamann rear diffuser BEFORE changing his exhaust to quads. I have that photo is to show the gap.

I did a groupbuy on the rear diffuser before here: http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/bazaar...yle-rear-diffuser.html?highlight=hamann+style

Cheers!

Re: Hamann Rear Diffuser E92

if you go down the route of installing the hamann diffuser you really need to change the tips to quad... the single tips dont work imo

No. Decide on your quads first, then mod your bumper/diffuser to fit the quads.

imo., it make sense to get e diffuser I like n mod e tip...if i get e tip first, i might end up not able to get e diffuser i prefer.....

u might have gotten me wrong, i ready got my muffler n will mod my outlet to any angle to fit e prefered diffuser...... rather then getting e quad n end up with not many selection of diffuser la.....

thnx for ur pointer mate .....

I dun think you get my point.

The Hamann quads tips (on Hamann mufflers) are much closer to one another compare to SS or Arqray, for instance. The diffuser are made to envelope the Hamann tips. So even if you change tips on stock muffler or any other muffler, you still need the distance between tips to fit into the Hamann diffuser. If your mufflers are too far apart (like the stock or SS), then you have to weld the tips at the edge of the mufflers to fit the diffuser?

Re: Hamann Rear Diffuser E92

wah, i think your pics really hit home the point Kenn or else i tot the diff between the stock/SS/ hamann aint much.....like that muffler tips rather challenging to mod liao

bro,

u r really good mate..............my bad as i've not elaborate my situation for a clearer pix.....

e mod i'm refering to is to totally adjust e outlet from e muffler to which ever angle tat is needed n finally when e angle is settled, then comes e weld on for e tips.......

ie: is like removing e original tip n welding a 2" pipe frm e muffler all e way to e diffuser outlet n than hook up e tip there after

hope i'm not confusing u guys as it kind of sound a little complicating.....:yikess:

Re: Hamann Rear Diffuser E92

makimaki power....die die must mod tips to fit the rear diffuser of his choice....thats sheer determination....your wife got scold or not ah?? keke

Re: Hamann Rear Diffuser E92

makimaki likes the Hamann rear diffuser.

He'll just cut his stock exhaust tips & mod it to quad tips to suit the diffuser....

I don't think he's getting any quad tips rear mufflers.....

Am I rite???

Re: Hamann Rear Diffuser E92

If u just mod the tips, then its easy... Fix the hamann diffuser 1st then run over to an exhaust shop to weld the quad tips.

Re: Hamann Rear Diffuser E92

Guys, I think you guys keep missing my points.....

What if you realise that, to fit the diffuser, you might have to weld the tips "out" of the mufflers?

My point is this - I have only seen one e92 on Hamann diffuser + Hamann exhaust mufflers. I myself had a hard time trying to fit the diffuser using SS mufflers. Has anyone actually measure if the edge of the stock mufflers can even cope with the narrow diffuser?

Mufflers...... after welding tips......

(................OO)..............(OO..................)

and the diffuser says.....

................. .< >......... < >..................

Then how? Change mufflers?

See my point?

Do the measurement first, then decides if you can even do this mod.
