dear all, 1st and foremost, i want to thank the admin for the welcome pm.

i joined this forum just a couple of days ago after booking the e90 318i, and will be taking delivery of the car 1st week jun. looking fwd to it and already in the process of planning ahead to kit up the car - my hobby which my wife loathes.

i was previously driving an audi a4b7 and was not even planning to change the car...

went to the showroom last thurs and took a test drive and the rest, is history. :) in a nutshell, i was totally impressed by the drive of the car.

i used the same nick in vagsg so potentially, some of you may know me here.

once again, thanks for the welcome to this friendly forum.

cheers.

Hi chershen, welcome to the forum.
Is A4B7 the latest A4 or the previous generation? Sorry for the noob question.

Btw, do share with me if you don't mind the main difference between between how the A4 and the E90 drives. I have always want to go test drive but hitmee always fly me aeroplane.

many thanks!

simple stuff 1st and hopefully last. my last a4b7 was modded like there is no tomorrow so i am having a challenge trying to dekit everything on time. things that i have arranged thus far are the 18" rims from hurry [my regular tyre shop], simple ice set-up at pin liang, and some asthetics from bimshop. the r2d air intake ram looks very cost effective too.

:)

hi, thanks!

b7 is the previous model while the latest is a b8.

mine's a 2.0na so may not be a good reflection of how the new model handles.

i loved my current ride still but i must say that the handling and feedback offered by the e90 was superb. the mid-range pick-up felt very decent although the start-up may not be as quick as my current ride [altho not stock though...]. the way the rwd handles is going to be very different from the fwd a4s.

in summing, it was a good and refreshing impending change for me and i am looking forward to it.
