well it depends on where the article's from or when it's dated. The E90 M powered coupe would still be called M3, after market survey shows that the M3 name already carries plenty of goodwill, according to some mags. oh well, a rose will still smell as sweet....

Does anyone share my opinion that car designs have almost reached its pinnacle plateau in terms of shape and size? If the given artiste's impression are accurate, it indicates that the BMW design has kept its fundamentals ever since the E36. I believe the design cant really evolve into a new paradigm anymore and has been explored pretty much through and through?

It's bad news because it is heavy. The canvas top itself is already a 200kg premium on top of a normal Coupe. Imagine if the top is made of metal!

the rear wheels seem a bit small. And, for a drop-top, it's got pretty properly-shaped c-pillars.

anyways, is bmw really going to have a folding hard-top? some reports have said that the cabrio or coupe has been disguised as such to mislead.
