Re: Full tank to empty, total kms ? for F10

btw bros, this is off topic. But do you pump the air yourself, or do you ask the uncle to do it? I did it myself today at Shell along Bkt Timah Rd, and after I finished, hands dirty all, the petrol attendant shouted at me to move my car away, because one auntie wants to take my spot to pump air. That same uncle then pumped it for her.

So, should we ask the pump attendant to also pump air??

I always pump myself. Just get ready a (wet) tissue to wipe your fingers. Sometimes will see the helpful attendant help some lady/taitai to pump.

Re: Full tank to empty, total kms ? for F10

Any pump attendant shouts at me unreasonably will get twice the volume of shouting from me, but then again there are quite a few inconsiderate cb kias who park at that area to go toilet or buy stuff n depriving others who want to pump air

Re: Full tank to empty, total kms ? for F10

Some CB Kia will also honk you while you are pumping air in their stupid looking bbq winged red plate Hyundai...

Happened to me over the weekend....

Not sure about you guys but I get some sense of satisfaction if I managed a good Fuel economic figues. I am used to MPG hence wont be using km/L unit.

Things I do especially on the mundane morning ride to work:
No aircon on from house to the Motorway exit ( < 1 KM), quite nice to have fresh air in early wee hours in the morning.
avoid braking on the motorway, when going downhill/ slope... tap gently to achieve accelaration and build up to speed before hitting upslope.
Hearsay coasting is good for F/C but I dont do that.
It has been quite a "game" for me daily and it has prove that the " Ngeowness" has came with some fruitful results.

P/s: I take the far left lane doing this so I dont hog the road.
and when it became too OCD, need to release the ponies under the hoot once a while! ahaha

Wow. I thought I was the only one! I just don't do the A/C thing. So not as OCD as you. Hahaha.

But yes, you will see much better F/C if you keep a distance from the car in front (especially during slow traffic) and avoid unnecessary braking on the highway.

Yes, building up speed before you go uphill also helps.

Nothing much you can do with city driving though.

I do mostly highways, so getting over 600km per tank is very easy for me.

Re: Full tank to empty, total kms ? for F10

Last time a cb uncle on a bicycle asked me to hurry up cos he needs to pump air liao rush to pang sai. I let him use 1st.

Good citizen

Thanks for all input.. understands my car better.. I am on running in period,
very light footed and i got only 410 kms.. Thus checking with everyone here.

It means it should be around 400 plus kms for full tank only...

Doubt it will hit 600 or even 500 so easily, as stated in manual..

Thanks again..

keep tyre pressure pumped up and drive like a pussy and you should hit be able to hit 600km on one tank. my average on my 535i is also 550km. i do get over 600km with about 50km left of range at times.
