Apologies to all bidders, for having taken so long to have some form of response from me... It's been a hellava day for me today, and I wasn't in front of PC til now...

Okay, now for the business at hand... a coupla things...

1) It is confirmed that Tires were manufactured "0605", or the 6th week of 2005.
2) As per my original post "..highest bid before 17:00:00hrs.." today, and "..according to Forum's clock..", therefore the highest winning bid is from "limeugene81" at the winning bid of "S$138", at "16:59hrs"... the next higher bid was "S$140", but that bid came in at "17:00hrs"...
3) I did say that collection will be on 18 Aug, but I think tomoro will be anothe bad day for me, and would like to do collection on 19 Aug (Sat) instead, or if the winner prefers, 21 Aug (Mon).

Thanks for all your bids, and congrats to the winner!

limeugene, pls PM me your mobile no., so that I can contact you to make arrangements for the collection of your tires...

nah... a win's a win... even if winning bid was $101 (gues no huge diff between 101 and 138 anyways, haha), I still would've honoured the deal...

The bidding-thing was more for fun-of-it, than anything else...

Really dunno what is ur problem. A bid is a bid wat.... even if we increase by $0.01, it is still a bid. Guess u think the offer was a joke huh? Now that the seller is honouring the bid, looks like u made a fool of yourself jumping into conclusions like this.

I am curious why u r assuming I dun own a BMW. Btw, owning a BMW is not everything in the world... to me, it's just one of my cars.

not too long ago, when i put in a simple response on another thread, the result was that i was blasted left and right from 2 pple...

i honestly felt that dennisxxx's statements were ungentlemanly, arrogant, and overall simply an insult to anyone, be it an owner of BMWs or any other make... but when i asked what he meant by "u wouldn't learn unless u own a BMW bro", his response was "that was address to MAV".. I thought maybe u 2 were buddies and having some 'private joke' between yourselves, but it seems like this is not the case, or is it?

anyways, that statement make it sounds as though BMW-owners are able to walk on water... and i certainly don't.. and wouldn't want anyone to think otherwise...

what car u own or drive, does not make who u are.. it simply means u can afford it... and even then, sometimes not..

Mav, glad u enjoyed the bidding... til next time... :)

Oh.. as a footnote, if and when i next put something up for sale or bids.. i will not be entertaining dennisxxx's bids and will disregard any of his bids.. For this is the second time that he has come up with 'less-than-gentlemanly' remarks/statements/behaviour...

(the last time was when i put a bunch of ICE items for bids)
