Elise fun car what...tested a friend's Elise in some of the Johor B road....didn't wanted to get out after that.
Tell you what...you "hiam" Elise not hardcore enough ? Very simple...how about you get the Elise...then "lup" one B18C Honda ITR engine into it (dun worry...it fits cos some people have done it before).
With that kinda power to weight ratio...you can go Orchard Gudang and scare the shit out of a lot of Rexes and Evos. (how about starting with Axl first...)
Like all good things...the drawback of this transformation is....HEAT !! They somehow did not get over the problem with heat as the engine bay was tight and after a few hard laps round the track...engine temp shoot up.
Is this tempting enough for you....ke ke ke ke ke

There is one running around in JB I heard with the Elise/B18C setup.
Should be a damn sweet car to blast around.

RB I think you mean F3 which runs 2000cc I4 engines in little single seater formula chassis.
F3000 [used to be F2] is monster power 3000cc V8s in a slightly larger chassis..... very very fast... coming in in terms of lap time only behind F1 and possibly Champ car on a road course.

From what I know...F2000 car even with lesser bhp can outrun a Posche 911 Turbo on the tracks.
I remember seeing on video before. A Ford engine F2000 outgun the Posche on the track. The cutting edge was the F2000 car's downforce. It was able to go thru the corner much faster than a road car.
Can't remember which vid mag did this before...
4 cars. From normal road sedan all the way to a Posche and a F1 car at Sliverstone. The slowest car will take off first followed by the next in 30 sec interval....the last to go was the F1...the way it crosses the finish line first despite starting out last was fantastic !! The way it overtook the Posche as if it was going at 90kmh only !!
I doubt with the K20A on a Elise it will have the muscle to outrun a pure breed F3000 car.

hmm F2000s average 2:17+ over 10 laps at Sepang. Really fast. Quite incredible that heavily ballasted (nearly 200kg of it) Radicals have run 2:15+. Though that was only for one lap qualifying. Still, take away the ballast and I'm sure it'd be as fast or faster than the F2000s.
