huh!!! Start/Stop spoil?? Did you go PML and ask them to check and repair it? Still under warranty lei!!!slowrunnerz;777340 said:I have done 3800km in mine (118i) since Christmas.
Overall average : 11km/l (all modes)
Best : 13.5 km/l (mainly eco-pro)
Worst : 9 km/l (Sport & comfort mode)
Mainly city traffic, 15% highway.
Petrol 95RON Caltex
Oh, and my auto start/stop doesn't work anymore. Must be I kept switching it off during traffic jams (too frequent move stop, move stop)!
yep... that is kinda true... Also, with the start/stop, I dunno if it will harm the engine in any ways, i.e shortening the lifespan of the spark plug and filter...slowrunnerz;777348 said:I didn't bother as I don't mind it off all the time! Actually I find it annoying when the engine starts suddenly, or switches off just when it's time to move again in a jam! Don't know how much I lose in FC, but I guess they will fix it when it's time for service....
Why dun you do it together with the service update for our ride? kill two birds with one stonenaqshband73;777356 said:HI,
My 116i coming to 2500km.....
FC so far :
Best 13.8km/l
Worst 10km/l
80% City, 20% Highway
Using Esso 98.......
How to "spoil" the Auto Start/Stop? I want it......
Was told by PML that they can programme it to default "off". But they need me to put car there for 1 full day for the programming to be done......

And that is a pretty good FC you have there, for a 80% city

Think I will go for 98 after I change the engine oil... Hope for a smoother pickup and better FC perhaps?davidtch;777417 said:IMHO, BMW = Ultimate Driving Machine. Full throttle all the way & hence with FC. Pump 98 and above only.
No matter, none of you can beat my E39 520 in the city. Nvr higher than 7km/L.
