Foreword: Thank you for reading. Considering the cost of cars these days, I consider myself EXTREMELY fortunate to have the privilege of owning a BMW thanks to my father. Most of the mods done on my car are the results of months of trolling/camping on this forum and learning from the other members here. As there are not many post on the F32 4-series in this forum, this thread attempts to chronicle the various mods I have done on my F32 to share with other newbies what can be done to the F32. As I am also a newbie myself, the list is not exhaustive.
Sept 2014:
On my 26th Birthday, my dad arranged to meet me at Kampong Arrang Performance Premium Selection.
He asked for my car key, and handed me this in exchange..
waiting for me, was this black beauty. A pre-owned 6-month old F32 420i with less than 2000KM on it.
"Work hard and use this as a motivation to excel and do well in your career" he said to me as he handed over the keys. Or at least that's what I think he said to me. I was too excited to pay attention. LOL! Yes it was pre-owned, but who cares? It was mine now!!!
As I bade goodbye to the sales lady that had assisted my father, she told me "be sure to check out Bmw-SG". I thought that was it. I'm a happy owner of a BMW 420i. Life goes on.
3 months later Dec 2014, on a sleepless night, i decided to check out BMW-SG. Big mistake!
So many things to mod! Where to start? What to do! :woottt::woottt::woottt::woottt:
Jan 2015: Wheels
As the new year began, so did my mod journey. I began with the rims. After making numerous calls, and trolling the internet for photos, I took the plunge and got myself a set of 19" Breyton Fascinate from Ray-s.
From this clunky "sport" rim.

to this set of 19" staggered Breyton Fascinate paired with Conti CSC5P 235/35/19 and 265/30/19
Yes the gaps between the brake disc and the rims were an eye sore, but I didn't care, I was happy to have finally begun my mod journey and anyway the car felt more responsive with the lighter rims. That was good enough For the time being anyway. Then it hit me, I could tune the car? Most tunes didnt cost much, but how could i do so without voiding the engine warranty?
Feb 2015: JB4
Again, the process of prowling the forums, searching for the right tune began again. After considering M-Tek, Racechip and many others, I settled on Juicebox4 from Boss Motorsports. Excellent experience with them. You can read about my experience here : http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/boss-motorsports/46944-juicebox4-aka-jb4-16.html
Nic configuring the JB4.

CNY Feb 2015: Exhaust, BBK and Grille
Spotted a posting by KBS
On the very last day before the promo ended, though price was still slightly on the high side,I placed the deposit for a set of Eisenmann Twin Sport mufflers and prepared myself as best i could to endure the grueling 4 week wait.
Less than 1 week after placing deposit for the exhaust, the BBB virus came back. This time while I was washing my rims. I really could not bear the mismatch in brake rotor size to the rims. Thanks to bro JONLEECK's recommendation, managed to source out a good price for OEM brembos. Delivery time, 3 weeks.
No choice, LL just wait for both exhaust and bbk to come in together.
1st week of March 2015:
Still painfully enduring the wait for BBK and Exhaust to come in when...
JDM announced F32 double slate grill on offer! MTL!
3rd week of March 2015:
KBS arranged for the installation of my twin Eisenmanns!

According to Eugene from KBS, I am the first 420i in Singapore with Eisenmann Twins. :woottt:
Someone asked me to describe the sound. In a word? Orgasmic
Cold Start Stock vs Eisenmann Twin Sport Muffler

Then the following day? The brakeshop arranged for the BBK installation! Huat ah! Braking feels equally good if not better than stock. 380mm slotted rotors with Brembo OEM BBK
At the end of a long week of running from workshop to workshop to get my exos and bbk done, I could not forget that our dear LKY passed away earlier this week on 23rd March 2015. Since I've been meaning to get some stickers for my car, i got a free decal from Johnson Sticker as a mark of respect for the old man.
Thank you Mr Lee. Without you, Singapore would not be the country it is today. RIP.
Planning on doing M-sport Body Kit next, but can't decide between Original German ($6XXX) or Taiwan replica ($2XXX).
30th March 2015:
Took my camera and car out for a mini photoshoot. Enjoy.
20th May 2015: M-sport bodykit
Finally got what I've been waiting for. M-sport + M performance body kit.
Image courtesy of JDM Autocare. I've been eyeing the M-sport kit for the longest time now, and at the time of this post, besides buying from JDM, it is impossible to bring in a complete kit at the price point JDM is offering.
PML does not do retrofitting of M-sport body kit. So for F32 bros interested in doing up M-sport or M-performance, look no further. I will not say that fitment is 100% perfect, but I will say you definitely get your money's worth. It is really value for money. If you strongly feel the need to get 100% fitment, you will have to pay at least double of what I paid to get the original kit in.
My only gripe is that after fitting the body kit, there were some issues with my PDC (parking distance control) aka reversing sensor. However I am pleased to note that Daniel and his team quickly resolved the problem for me and so far so good.
:ehhh::ehhh::ehhh: I think its time to go and do another round of photo taking.
28th May 2015: M-performance Rocker Panel Decal
Since I have the m-sport side skirt, why not adorn it with the M-Performance Rocker Panel Decal from Eng Soon Auto.
In my opinion, i think the decal looks nicer on white cars. More contrast. Anyway, hearsay that the sticker adds 2bhp per side. :laughlik:
This is probably gonna be my last mod for a while. My wallet seriously needs to recoup.
I think I can also use this time to decide on what to do next. Aesthetic or performance.
On the list:
1) Coilover or lowering Springs
***WARNING IMAGE INTENSIVE***
