F30 air con issue

hi everyone, need some advice on this.
Everytime I start my car my aircon gave out a foul smell for a short while and it only happens when i start the car and aircon just begin running. Anyone encounter this too? Does changing cabin filter helps?

When my car was about a year old I had the same issue as you. It was a stale sourish smell. Try the following which I read about somewhere (I've done it once and it worked and the smell has not come back):

Wind down all the windows.
Put the aircon fan on Max speed.
Turn the aircon temperature to the hottest.
Drive on for about 10 minutes.
At the end of the 10-minute drive restore all the aircon settings to your liking. Next day on the first drive the smell had gone.
